Culture Club! Monday, 22nd Jan 2018

We are always working on ways to make working at E4 as fun and enjoyable as possible. So in late 2017, we introduced the 'CULTURE CLUB'!

There has always been an emphasis on having 'fun days' at E4 and going out together as a team. Everyone works really hard to be successful and so it is great to have some downtime outside of the office. Up until now, it had mainly been the directors who tried to come up with ideas every month on what the team activity would be. All the standard ideas had been done......Tenpin bowling, lunches, escape rooms etc. All great fun but it was time for something a bit different.

So......in came Culture Club!

How does it work?
Every month, the name of each staff member goes into the hat. Two people are then drawn and it is up to them to come up with the activity for that month. This is kept as a secret so the rest of the team don't find out until they arrive at the activity!
It is safe to say that everyone in the office has their own likes and dislikes which means some great diversity for the culture club activity each month. The rule is (within reason!) that everyone has to join in, even if it is something that wouldn't usually be their cup of tea! You can guarantee plenty of fun and laughs along the way!

Our first culture club was in November with Josh and Sarah being pulled out of the hat. What did they come up with? A fantastic afternoon at VIRTUAL ROOM in Sydney. Fast forward to January and we are ready for the next Culture Club activity (December was the annual E4 Christmas dinner so no activity). This time to be organised by Nicki and Lauren. We are all eager to find out what we will be doing this month.....
