Questions answered
I want to go into temp work and travel Australia but I'm nervous about not having a permanent job?
There is no reason to worry! There has never been a day at E$ where we have not had a temp job that needs filling, especially if you are looking to travel. We have had many allied health professionals travel across Australia while temping for a whole year!
I have done a contract with another agency, can I work with E4 also?
Yes, it is perfectly fine to work with multiple agencies - it is important for you to find the working relationship that is right for you. We hope that will be us!
What areas of work do you have roles in?
We have work in aged-care, community, occupational rehab, public and private hospitals, private practice and medical device companies.
Can I work as a locum even if I am a new grad?
Yes! In aged-care especially they are able to give you an induction before you start, so if you are unsure about what road you want to go down in your career, it is a great place to start!
Can I work in a part time role and also locum?
Yes! The nature of locum work is that it fits around your schedule so if that is topping up your weekly hours alongside your part time job we can make it work.
How long are locum contracts?
Locum contracts can be last anywhere from 2 weeks up to 3 months with potential to be extended. We have had locums work up to 1 year by extending their locum contract every 3 months. This gives you the flexibility to stay in the role for longer if you are enjoying it or move on to another contract or permanent position when the time is right for you.
