About the Role:
As the Facility Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of this modern aged care home. Your leadership will inspire a dedicated team to deliver exceptional, person-centered care to our residents. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead with Vision:
Manage day-to-day operations, maintaining the highest standards of care and compliance with industry regulations.
- Financial Stewardship:
Oversee budgeting and financial performance to achieve sustainability while maintaining exceptional service delivery.
- Empowering Leadership:
Cultivate a positive workplace culture, empowering staff through mentorship, professional development, and open communication.
- Quality & Compliance:
Ensure the facility meets and exceeds accreditation standards and legislative requirements.
- Continuous Improvement:
Drive initiatives to enhance resident care, operational efficiency, and overall service quality.
About You:
To excel in this role, you will bring:
- Proven Leadership Experience:
At least 3 years of management experience in residential aged care or a similar setting.
- Professional Qualifications:
Current AHPRA registration is essential.
- Strategic Thinker:
Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on financial management and operational excellence.
- People-Centered Approach:
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage effectively with residents, staff, and stakeholders.
- Commitment to Quality Care:
A passion for enhancing resident well-being and delivering person-centered care.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications in aged care, health management, or a related field (e.g., Nursing Degree with AHPRA registration).
- Experience supporting residents with dementia.
- A current driver’s license and proof of vaccination (as per industry standards).
